I don't want to open a new topic and I write here. It is possible to remove boot message «Press <F2> to enter Setup. Press <F12> to change boot device.» and replace Acer logo with a full black image ?

can you plaese tell me wich setting i have to change, to set my hyperthreading OFF?
I updated mij version (like you did i suppose), but i see nowhere "hyperthreading" ?

Hi,

I have a acer 5755g corei7, but I hate the Display Resolution. I bought a used FullHD Display from an alienware m15x.
The Display fits well and works, but as soon as you get out of the Bios, you are not able to read nay Text. It looks a lot worse than before.
In Windows or Linux, the Resolution is set to 1920x1080, but even if I set it back to 1366x768 the Image is really bad.
With a HD+ Display from a different Laptop 1600x900, i get the same bad Image, so the Display should be ok.

The Graphic Card should handle the Resolution well, so I believe that something locked inside the Bios?

Using Bios posted in Forums here, is there a chance I might get the FullHD Panel working?

I tried the v1.17 posted here, then my internet wifi nic stopped working -.-
But anyway, v1.20 was released BIOS_Acer_1.20_A_A.zip
Can kindly help me unlock? or walk me trough a simple guide on how to unlock?

I have a 5755g and i have problems with overheat, dont know if its a faulty fan or anything else, i got the 1.17 unlocked bios, set the speed to 100 and still cant get it under 90 celsius which is a problem. Any ideas on what i can do?

I will Post later my complete Bios settings @ 1.19 Unlocked
I also got covered Acer also known as packard bell (ts11hr)
With my settings the temps be stable @ 75-85°C
