Unlocking insyde BIOS f.23 hp pavillion dv7 (i dont know how to get the number after)

Hey I am trying to overclock my cpu and I dont have access to my advanced tab. Im guessing I need a mod but is there any other way to get access to the advanced settings. Could I try f10+a more times?

Lol that F10 + a only works on very old insyde bios

There's no overclocking options in your laptop's advanced tab. I personally believe that all series 5 intel boards have their base clock's frequency hard coded into their design, but I don't have any proof of that.

There are some overclocking settings in your setup utility, but no ones been able to get to them. I know this because there are strings that relate to overclocking it the setup module. But even if you could access them, changing them would have any effect if the base clock is hard coded.

Also overclocking a laptop is a terrible idea. They have a very restricted internal air flow
