Hello everyone,
I own a dell inspiron 5423(14z) which I very much bought with my own hard earned cash. Im a very tech inquisitive guy and a few months ago I decided to set an admin password, sadly I have forgotten this password now. I have scoured the net to find means to unlock the bios to no avail, with some sites demanding payment in return for the unlock code. the sad thing is I live in a remote place on the planet where we don't even have paypal.
Therefore my problem is this, can I use the recovery methods described on this site to force flash the recovery( as if it were bricked) just in order to get rid of the lock.
PS: I desperately need to change the boot settings in order to install fresh copy of windows otherwise my laptop is trash. However if there is any other method available pls show me how to do it. Thanks in advance
