Can you please re-upload the file . It has been deleted . I also have a v5-122p with a bricked bios , and any attempts of flashing failed . Please help !

On wich component ? Mainboard? memory? other one?

I run the laptop without the wifi, HDD, battery, cmos battery, RAM, different power addapter, and it gives always the same error.

The last thing t do is just change the usb and áudio circuit board to see if the error is on this. (placed in only one side and without it the laptop doesn't work).

Besides that the problem is only on the MBoard, now is gessing where ...

found out needs 2.06 first then 2.12   it had 2.04 and couldnt update via fn esc.. then found doc about 2.06 security mechanism changed needs 2.06 before any other newer.
fn esc works with 2.06 for sure

Since the above rghost link still says "access restricted" folks should know they can get the *.fd files they need for the usb-stick from  the acer exe or zip downloads. In general, anyone can use free 7zip software to "unzip" the bios-updater-exe files and extract the *.fd recovery files that need to be on the usb thumbdrive.  For an example below are steps to get these version 2.06 *.fd files (not sure which is needed the An206i.fd or An206w.fd but I believe one of them should  work,  right?
In any case, for each Fn-Esc recovery attempt, there should  probably be *only* one *.fd file on the usb-stick.

After installing 7zip, anytime you right-click on a foobar.zip or foobar.exe file you should see a 7-Zip menu which includes an option "Extract to foobar/..."  That is, it will create a new folder with same name as the .zip (or .exe), and extract there.
To get the *.fd files, it is sort of like those Russian nesting dolls: you have to extract a zip,  then extract a exe from the zip, then extract exe(s) from the exe to finally find those *.fd files. They're buried deep!

Also, you'll want to uncheck "Hide file extensions": Open Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization. Now, click on Folder Options or File Explorer Option, as it is now called > View tab. In this tab, under Advance Settings, you will see the option Hide extensions for known file types. Uncheckthis option and click on Apply and OK. There is no downside to seeing those file extensions... I think it  is insane that windows hides them.

(1.) I started by downloading this file from the acer website:
03/11/2016  11:29 PM         5,515,698 BIOS_Acer_2.06_A_A.zip

(2.) Right-click on the zip file -> 7-zip-> Extract to ./BIOS_Acer_2.06_A_A

(3.) Somewhere inside ./BIOS_Acer_2.06_A_A folder you'll find SOBI0206.exe

(4.) Right-click on SOBI0206.exe -> 7-Zip -> Extract to ./SOBI0206/
NOTE: As long as at least some files are extracted, then you can safely ignore any error messages such as:

[size=small][/size]

[size=small]Can not open the file as [PE] archive[/size]
The file is open as [7z] archive

(5.) Inside the SOBI0206 folder you'll find:

(6.) By now you can guess that you'll right-click on each of the above
and extract to folders SOBI206i and SOBI206w. In those folders you'll find the *.fd files.
