It's normal for 945PM chipset.
Enter in BIOS, do Load Defaults, save & reboot.

Hi, i'm actually at work. Main Bios page indicates 3072MB RAM anytime with 3 or 4GB RAM.
After BIOS LOGO cursor, in upper left corner of the screen, blink for some second then disappear. Usually in that moment the Windows logo appear and Windows start boot, but with extra RAM at this time screen come black and pc reboot.
I' thinking about a voltage problem.
I the afternoon, when i came back home, i try to start it without battery.
Thank you again

Your laptop uses 945PM with 32bit's PAE. So it can't address memory above 4GB.
In your laptop memory above 0xC0000000 address is used by internal devices. So only 3072 Mb are available. It can't be changed by any BIOS patches.

What's the version of Windows you use?
Try to disconnect HDD. Any changes?
