Want to disable GPU on Lenovo y510p

Hello everyone! This is Ali from Pakistan. I imported a Lenovo y510p and installed svl7's unlocked BIOS. Its a great laptop but the battery life is very short due to the SLI setup. If I remove the 2nd graphics card (ultrabay), I get optimus enabled. I was hoping if there was a way to disable the PCI-e slot to disable the ultrabay while its inserted. I'm a student and can't have a hole in my laptop lol. There are many options in the unlocked BIOS but I'm afraid I'll brick it and Lenovo has no support for it here. I did my homework here
but dont understand many of the settings and consequences it may have. Someone please help. Regards!
