Xytrex/Netapp Storage System with Phoenix TrustedCore BIOS UNLOCK Request

Hi Everyone,

I have a storage server thats used by alot of different storage vendors (Netapp, IBM etc).  

I'd like to edit some DMI info, but all the DMI data seems to be read-only.  I'm guessing its locked in BIOS, hence my request here.  Several utilities will view the DMI info, such as DMIEDIT etc, but the fields are all grey'd out or give an error on write. 

Specifically, the fields I'd like to unlock are the "System Serial Number", "System Product Name", "System SKU number" and "BaseBoard Product".

I used the universal bios extractor on the current BIOS and it is attached.

It doesnt look like I'm getting any bites on this unlock request.

I'm digging around the bios myself with the Phoenix bios editor but I'm not seeing where to unlock these DMI fields. Does anyone have a link to some good documentation on the phoenix bios editor?

It's an Phoenix Bios New Style so ask to Stevn = Sml6397 !

The first post contains the BIOS as extracted from the tools you list in your links.

I have attached the BIOS file from the manufacture.  Unlike the backed up BIOS file, this one wont open the Phoneix bios editor....so I'm not sure what format it is.
