dell 2.4 or > slic for X470 based mobo

I need to upgrade a system to an X470 based board, and I need a Dell slic 2.4 or higher.
I do not have the board.  I am considering two, and my initial request is to know if anyone can do that for either the
MSI X470 Gaming Plus MAX   https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/...G-PLUS-MAX  AMI bios 7B79vH5
or
Asus Prime X470 PRO  https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRI...Desk_BIOS/    Version 5406 (this is a weird file format)

I am open to other X470 choices.  I want to change to a Ryzen 5 3600X.
Since I don't have the board (I will buy whichever one has a solution here)  I don't have a RW everything run for these boards.

I'd consider other mobos.
