dv3-4010sl BIOS for SataIII pcie upgrade

Hello! I'm new in this great community... excuse me if I'm writing in the wrong section... here is the problem: I've an old, hot Pavilion dv3-4010sl, with F.27 bios (autoupdated some years ago!). I have removed the WiFi PCIexpress module and installed here a PCIexpress addon to use a sataIII (or Sata 6.0 Gbps) ssd at its full speed. The laptop can't see the addon... do you think it's possible that installing a "whitelist modded" bios can resolve the problem? If not, any idea to have the add-on working?
