See here:

http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?model=M2N32%20WS%20Professional&SLanguage=en-us

Thats whats officially supported or you can request a mod here for us to try and add support for another cpu not on the official list

Hi! My name is Bror. I am interested in BIOS mods to my ASUSM2N32WS Pro, Rev 1.04G. With a BIOS Rev 2001, and a AM2+ socket.
The list ower supported CPU for this motherboard, dose not include,
AMD Phenom II X4 920 AM2+ and abow.
The only limit is the max ow 125W, and a on board DDR-2 controller.
Only a few of AM3 socket cpu´n have a DRR-2 controller and a DRR-3 controller.
No matter core count, there has to be a DRR2 controller, or it will not work.
Can enny body help me with a modded BIOS file?

All new CPUs except the Thuban hexacores work with the 1802 BIOS.
Somebody posted a modded bios based 1802 at the Asus support forums a while back. Apparently it contains updated agesa and updates for pci-x. I have not tried that bios myself though.
Follow the instructions here:
http://www.overclock.net/amd-motherboard...2-sli.html
if you have problems with the CPU being stuck at 800MHz.

I currently have an Asus M2N32 WS Pro upgraded to the most current Asus bios version (2001) available in hopes to use this most excellent board with an upgraded processor.  The Athlon 64 X2 4600+ that is currently installed works perfectly.

Upon installing my tested and working Phenom II X2 550 BE, the power supply powers up, but nothing else happens.  Before flashing, the power supply would fire up, run for 4 seconds, and shut down.

Through the research I've done over the last couple nights I believe that the Asus M2N32 SLI Deluxe bios version 2209 bios would be a good donor for the processor compatability.  I would love to figure this out myself, but I'm kinda at a loss of where to start modifying my bios.

I ran across your guys's site while researching how to make this proc work in this motherboard, and if the site is still active, I'd love to get into modding bios.  The journey is more interesting to me than the destination for this kinda stuff, and regardless if I'm handed a patched bios or not, I'll still be trying to figure out how to do it on my own, and hopefully, helping others do it in the future.  I will continue to search this site, but if anyone has a good starting point for bios modding, thatd be awesome!  And if someone could whack together a bios to get my daughter's computer up and running so she can play on the Minecraft FTB Monster server I just got installed for her, I could probably arrange for a custom bracelet or whatever to show her gratitude.  (She's 7 hehe)

I did read the Readme pertaining to the bios mod requests - I do believe I can find a motherboard around here to run that chip natively and get the CPUID number off of the Phenom, as well as any other information I might have missed.  Please be kind, and let me revel in your wisdom!  Who knows, I might just turn out useful here...

Thank you so much for your replies in advance.  From everything I've read, you all seem to be a buncha kickass peeps.  I'm subscribed to the thread with email alerts which blow up my phone directly, so expect my hasty reply!

Desired Processor Specs (AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition)

Part Number -   HDZ550WFK2DGI
Stepping Code - CACYC AC 0923EPMW

Desired Motherboard (Asus M2N32 WS Pro ver. 2001)

Donor Bios (Asus M2N32 SLI Deluxe ver. 2209)

Does anyone still have the modified bios version 1802B by Tomek and could they make it somehow available again, please?
