razer blade 2014

Hi guys I have a razer blade 2014 (QHD) model. I am interested in installing osx the main issues is that the laptop has an HD 4600 GPU and in osx that resolution and the HD 4600 do not play nice in osx. There is a thread in insanelymac where a guy with a dell laptop with similar resolution and HD 4600 was able to install osx with a bios mod allowing the HD 4600 under osx to drive that resolution.
