Did you confirm after EZ Flash downgrade that it actually was downgraded to 305?

sorry for late.i've been busy.
yes the bios downgraded to 305.
today i flashed 308 again becuse i see that in official asus page.
i see u succeed to unlock gl503vd 's bios. can we try with new 308 bios? Smile

I succeed in unlocking MANY BIOS all day long, but this one I cannot, remember all BIOS I sent you already and all failed. Some trick on this one I don't know about is causing all edits to fail. BIOS version isn't going to change that. I don't want to waste your time with more testing for no reason, someone else needs to help you on this model, Feluchi or Dudu2002 can probably help.

OK, yes, I will try one edit on 308 for you (switch advanced), then if success I'll do the rest. Send me FPT dump from your BIOS with 308 flashed in, and then unlock BIOS lock so you can be ready.

i secceed to update cpu microcode and network adaptor with UBU tool and flashed it with afuwin using this guide
https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/592...herboards/
without bios unlock. i checked xtu and the microcode version is updated. then i wanted to duoble check that so i backedup bios with afuwin and open it with UBU tool and i saw micro code is updated but network adaptor is still previous version.
any idea?
i think afu is safer and easier way than FPT(need bios unlock) or i am wrong?
i use afuwin with cmd
sorry for my bad english

Sounds like UBU failed to update your other file (Network), that's only needed if your boot from LAN Anyway.
Did you check file after UBU mod and confirm the file was changed?

No, I don't think AFU is better or safer to use, especially for Intel systems.
I only suggest using AFU on AMD systems now.

BIOS unlock for FPT is easy, and you can disable in BIOS you flash in, so next time already disabled too always if you wanted.

yes i check that and it was changed.
so now i need to flash original v308 with asus easy flash 3 again and upload fpt dump for you?

Please flash stock 308 only, then send me FPT dump, I don't want to edit on already edited BIOS because then if it fails you wont know if my edits break it or yours. Often microcode update breaks a BIOS if you don't do it correctly, and yes, often UBU can break BIOS updating microcodes.

As suspected, the BIOS in post #36 will brick board, don't flash that BIOS. Also, that is not FPT Dump, unless you named FPT Dump AFU?? Big Grin
Anyway, this is broken mod due to bad microcode update, removing the pad file above microcodes on the mod BIOS

Here is safe to use microcode update only
[Image: MBQtiC9.jpg]

Also included is single menu swap test, swapped Advanced - if you have no advanced now, then let me know, might get lucky and single change fix it (I didn't do this time again, so you wouldn't have handful of test files all at once again Big Grin)
