request for gigabyte ga-ma790x-ds4

hi there well what im asking is it possible to mod the bios of this mobo so it will allow pci x16 on both pci-e slots instead of limiting them both to x8 it's the only reason i don't use this mobo and choose to use the older one i have sapphire 3200 pure crossfire.

i also believe this is it's bigger brother http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product...id=2694#ov which does support both graphic cards running at x16 i'll upload this bios too if you can use anything from it dunno if it's possible to do this or not but i appreciate any help.

a) PCI-E x8 is not going to be a limitation even if you had 6970s. x16 would gain you, at most, 1%.
b) Your board is a different chipset. The 790FX from the second board you linked is higher end.

I did look in your BIOS and there's pretty much nothing to unlock.
