[request]travelmate 5720g with 9600m 1gb?

new here, bios for travelmate 5720g
Hello everyone, i'm new here and trying to learn more about bios mods and how can be useful to me. Actually i have a travelmate 5720 with last official bios, 1.35. The vga mounted on mxm II slot is an ati hd2400xt but i want to replace with a 9600m gt 1gb ram. Apparently the card works but:
-notebook starts and stay black, reach windows i can hear the start sound
-fan doesn't even start
-vga stay cold and unused

is it possible to make a bios (i think is a bios problem) that allow to use this card with this notebook? I checked the specs and it should be ok (power, slot, compatibility) but i think there is some software\rom block in the bios
