request whitelist removal hp dv7
#1
I have a hp pavilion dv7-6157nr notebook
operating system windows 7 64 bit
current wireless adapter intel Centrino advanced n-6230
pci\ven_8086&dev_0090&subsys_52118086&rev_34

bios f.1b sp5508

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55068.exe

I would like to add killer wireless-n 1202 from acer laptop
pci\ven_168c&dev_0034&subsys_20031a56&rev_01

Note: the current wireless adapter 6230 was not original to laptop but was added from a moded bios by Camiloml sp55068 and works fine. but I get the hardware not supported when I tried to installed the killer 1202

Thanks

@BDMaster Hey! This is one that I've already modded thanks to a lot of people at InsanleyMac testing it. It is worth looking at though since it uses some very different whitelist removal techniques. It's not as simple as the ones used in Lenovo's whitelists since it implement a wifi and bluetooth whitelist, so it requires two patches Cool

@vincet toscan You can find the modded bios in my modded bios repository. Enjoy Big Grin

You saved me time and headaches, I will study your solution to learn more.
Many thanks, friend.
