I have a compaq 610 laptop, the battery died last night. The computer showed that the battery cann't be detected inside. Wanna to upgrade the bios, but it said that a battery was required. So depressed...Any other method can help to upgrade the bios? Begging help...
At the same time, I am worried about the risk occurd when updating the bios..It's said that the bios can be refreshed only when the power is more than 10% and addtional power was connected, which is a special design for hp in order to avoid power outage in the process. Once the battery was cut off, some bad things will happen.....
Who has file package for updating the bios under DOS for compaq 610 laptop???
