Your Q35 chipset does not support 5xxx Series processors, but I modified the bios to accept other LGA771 Xeons. Please report back if you install one.

I'm very sorry to hear that. Is it completely bricked? The microcode mod was pretty routine, but the checksum correction I used must be outdated or it doesn't want to process the invalid characters. I have heard of HP bricking computers over invalid checksums though. I've flashed some really sketchy roms to my Lenovo computers, and they haven't minded one bit. Hopefully somebody can comment if invalid checksums are the case.

Does your computer take laptop memory?
Hi,

Is bricked! But is not o problem because I know the procedure to unbrick! Now the pc is ok!
The checksum for all .bin file is ok but hp tool (ex. flashbin) check separately the zone for microcode!

The memory is for desktop not laptop ! Is not ussf case!

Thanks for your time!

I believe I made a mistake with checksums on the first one. The checksums for the second were doublechecked. This is still very risky since I cannot test.
