[REQUEST BIOS UNLOCK] ASUS B85M-F PLUS
#11
Still waiting on this >> Show me image CPU-z Motherboard tab, then also an image of the BIOS with the bclk setting selected (So I can see the help text on right)

Memory to Bclk ratio is not where you enter Bclk, the Bclk setting will be above that if you have it enabled.

OK, when you get HDD post image please. Is Bclk shown in the BIOS you flashed in there, in AMIBCP? It may be due to no Asrock B85, or at least the two BIOS you have tried, have Bclk options possible. I checked B85M-G-3602 and it does not have the secondary "Ai Overclock Tuner" that is Auto, Manual (Bclk/mem-freq), XMP or other like ROG. The one in the BIOS you are using is only Auto/XMP, no other option can be set/enabled.

Compare to a Z77 or Z87 BIOS and you will see what I mean, here is an example showing both IFR and AMIBCP, even if added your board does not have the hardware to bclk overclock (need bclk controller, they do not put those on B/H/G models usually). You're BIOS on right (B85M-G-3602), notice in the IFR on bottom (Text), even if this was showing in AMIBCP you could not enabled it due to it's not there in the actual coding anyway.

Most bclk you can get on a board like that is usually is 103 or so, not worth the effort. If you really want to overclock you need a Z87 or Z97 board, but even them Bclk overclock isn't as easily usable like it was back in the FSB days, maybe you could do 105-108 on a good board with a great CPU.

Happy belated Turkey to you as well Big Grin
