Hi BDMaster. I experimented some more: switched back to v1.11, switched to discrete, and found that VT appears to remain enabled. I also played around with enabling discrete in v1.11 and then flash to v.1.19 but it just switched back to switchable. Perhaps discrete and v1.19 just isn't meant to be. Thanks for your help.

I have the exact same problem with my Acer 5745PG. Did you try installing Windows 10 on v.1.11?
