gigabyte 990fxa-d3 rev1
#1
My mobo is a Gigabyte 990fxa-d3 and
i currently have f8b bios installed.

bios download link:
http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-...=3900#bios

I was wondering if you could add a disable/enable LLC option in this
bios or in any other version ( i don't really care as long as its compatible
with my fx-6200).

LLC stands for load line calibration and is a voltage regulating freeking thing
that doesn't let me overclock properly.

Thanks in advance for your time and effort.

That usually has to be done by Gigabyte when they create the BIOS.
You can try using ModBin6 to disable it but that may be a bit risky, ModBin tends to corrupt the BIOS.
I believe ModBin will only disable the Option to change it in the Menu and not really disable LLC.
Is there an earlier version that has that LLC disabled ?
You'd have to contact Gigabyte Support and see what they can do for you.

unfortunately only msi and some asus motherboards have
the disable/enable llc option available in their bios.

gigabyte even in higher tier mobos like the ud-5 or ud-7
doesn't have this option.

i saw an overclocking guide where a guy with the ud-3 version
said he had a modified bios with this option but he is not giving itSad

here is a link of that thread:

Anyways, thank you for your time, i will try to figure something out
or stay with my modest +300mhz overclockSmile

^ According to that Guide the OP said:
"If you have LLC option set it to the highest or second to highest."
So why would you want to disable it to OC yours ?
