i too have this exact pc and would like to have the same.... i just got a ssd and want full control of my pc...please let me know something thank you

First, flash the Acer Original v1.24 BIOS Here.
Then, Flash this Camilo M.L.'s Unlocked BIOS Here.

Worked for my 1830TZ (Enabled XD [Windows 8 Requirement], but had to disable Turbo Boost, VT & VT-d since my model has just a lowly Pentium U5600)

BTW, without issue, you CAN upgrade to 8GB of RAM.
