Hi, Please read.
I have an Aspire 5730ZG laptop and I recently upgraded from the original Intel Dual Core T3200 2.0GHz processor
to a Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 2.4GHz. The new CPU works fine, most of the time... When playing games the CPU works great, but sometimes for some reason the laptop shuts down and the clock drops to 1.6 GHz and then I have to restart the BIOS settings to get it working again. First time I tought the CPU got overheated, but the second time it happened it did not even start to get hot. So I think with the unlocked BIOS controls I could get it working fine. If you have some advice about what might be wrong with the CPU change, I would be grateful. I have no money to buy another pc and I have to make this one work properly. Thank you very much!

Acer Aspire 5730ZG

O.S.: Windows 8.1 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 2.4GHz (Upgraded from: Intel Dual Core T3200 2.0GHz)
RAM: 4GB DDR2 (Upgraded from 2GB)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS
Motherboard Model: Acer Eiger Chipset: Intel PM45

Hi,

can someone help me to unlock advanced features on this BIOS ?

this is for ACER Aspire 5730ZG bios v1.23 (rom attached)

im looking for hours on guide, but i'm not skilled for this. i find the "intel menu" look in hex editor but dunno how to "activate" or move the menu.

can someone help me?

thx a lot Genius ! but i have an error open flash.sys with this exe on win10. can u send me .rom ?

@GioCap yeah i just try Kizwan and its work, menu are add in submenu in other menu. maybe @genius239 made the real menu working?


@genius239 @GioCap how can i see if new CPU (like T9900 or QX9300) / GPU (MXM II) can work with this bios? i try to look into phoenix bios editor but cant find. thx
