[REQUEST] Acer Aspire 5560(G) BIOS Unlock

Ah gotcha, this is a Phoenix EFI implementation.

Yes, any news ? Can you modify it ?

The problem is that the bios does some sort of a scan for sata connections at startup, because when you remove the second hdd and turn it on it works well, then you plug it in and windows recognizes it, but if the second hdd is connected during start up there is only a blank screen.

Question
Hello, so any news ? I believe there is a lot more people waiting for this modification. I'm using ssd as main drive and original hdd as 2nd (with physical power button "mod") data, backup and so on storage. And now i'm having some problems with "randomly 2nd drive disconnections" I believe its because bios going crazy and not always want to recognize 2nd hdd. I had this issue before but i don't remember now how exactly i managed to "fix" it. I did some windows reinstalls, and this problem was gone until now. It would be nice to have this modification, maybe it will solve my agony.
Major things what need to be done:
> unlock (or add) support for 2nd disk drive,
>

P.s. If well need any additional information. Feel free and let me know.
P.s.s. I'm so sure there would be people who would like to donate for good results.

Hi guys,

This is the new style tiano architecture Phoenix is using so I am having some trouble recognizing the new modules in the setup. I will try to report back on Thursday with what I find.

Would be great to get an unlocked BIOS for Acer 5560G.. to enable fixed graphics mode for faster GPU.

The "modded" 1.17 from here was no different from regular 1.17 from what I saw (tested).

Sorry for bumping up such an old thread, but i did not want to start a new one. Is there a possibility of unblocking now this type of bios, because it is pretty frustrating.
I had this bios and it was unlocked i could OC my CPU/RAM but now it is locked from a sudden.

Waiting for a reply. Ty
