You need CH341A programmer and SOP8 Test Clip. The entire set costs ~10 USD in China.

i finally got the tools.
Now i'm kinda stuck since the programmer software i found online has support for W25Q64BV and my chip is W25Q64FV

Should it work? i'll try searching for an updated version of the software (maybe i'm lucky)

I must be doing something wrong because i can't seem to get it to work

programmer connected to usb(open software 1.17(admin or no admin)) - Device status: connected
after i attach the sop8 cable to chip - Device status: not connected
(tried it on win 8.1 64 bit and also on win 7 32 bit)

i'm starting to think i'm just gonna have to take the chip off the motherboard and i don't think i am that qualified Smile

When I run BACKUP_Tools, it show"Error 280: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space!"

yes,you are right. my Eeprom Chip is W25Q64BV.
Do I must get out the entire mainboard to find the Eeprom Chip? If I only open the undersideļ¼Œcan I find the Eeprom Chip?
