i'mma do it the old fashioned way... guess you like it the hard(ware) way. Smile the programmer way it is Smile

Hi
You need CH341A programmer and SOP8 Test Clip. The entire set costs ~10 USD in China.

Regards

i finally got the tools.
Now i'm kinda stuck since the programmer software i found online has support for W25Q64BV and my chip is W25Q64FV

Should it work? i'll try searching for an updated version of the software (maybe i'm lucky)

I must be doing something wrong because i can't seem to get it to work

programmer connected to usb(open software 1.17(admin or no admin)) - Device status: connected
after i attach the sop8 cable to chip - Device status: not connected
(tried it on win 8.1 64 bit and also on win 7 32 bit)

i'm starting to think i'm just gonna have to take the chip off the motherboard and i don't think i am that qualified Smile
