Recently bought G710 not understanding this concept of whilelist. Need help otherwise I'll have to sell unit on ebay at loss as store doesn't process returns.

Have a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 I want to run on this unit.

Would appreciate a modified BIOS.

I uploaded the .exe file and file extension is changed to .zip to see. FD file

If and when modded, will it be executible on Windows to reflash via Windows or will I need to run it a USB stick? Please explain

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

I get.
PDR Region does not exist.
GBE Region does not exist.
Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access. Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers.

Please advise!

In addition, I''m not sure what to do with the patches.txt file

Hi firend,
The 2nd file Patch is for users wose want to do Mod by themself.
Our issue is Error 28 normaly Prr.exe = svl7 tool which is running before FPT disabling It bypassing and permit reflash ios Mod.
Try to Disable SecureBoot into Bios and Set Legacy Bios USB before flash.
Can You show a Screen Shot (photo) of this moment with error just to see if your procedure is correct ? cause Prr.exe advice about error 28 and then say to click enter to continue to flash Bios Mod.
If We cannot byapass this then You need an SPI Programmer to reflash Bios.
Let me know
Regards
