Hi, I would like to modify this bios.
#1
Brick

.zip   backup.zip (Size: 1.64 MB / Downloads: 1)

BIOS file uploaded.  Blush

I have the motherboard of a mini computer (don't know the model name Confused ).
I reinstalled Windows, but it asks for a device driver that does not exist.
This board appears to have been recycled from some parts of the original tablet PC, and after checking the unknown device, it turned out to be a touch screen driver.
I want to remove this, what should I do?
What part of BIOS should I modify?

Driver name, location(?)
ACPI\GDIX1001\3&1AA977B9&0
ACPI\VEN_GDIX&DEV_1001
ACPI\GDIX1001

hmm. I modified the bios myself.
The result is that it works, but ROM Image update denied appears, and the existing eMMC drive disappears. and It does not boot automatically, and BIOS booting is a bit slow.
(However, other drives and EFI Shell work. Booting with EFI Shell works well.)
The items I tried to edit were applied.

How I did it:
After booting into Linux, dump the entire BIOS using flashrom.
DSDT uses ACPICA on Linux and modifies DSDT after dump (DSDT disassembly - removal of GDIX1001 related - assemble)
Then, after connecting to Windows, open UEFITool, find the ACPI table, find the DSDT item, and replace it.
Then, after saving, connect to Linux, erase everything with flashrom, burn the modified version, and reboot.
