| Acer Aspire M5100 R01-A3 Here is the Modified BIOS that has been requested by a user I have unlocked all PCI Express Settings, Voltages, DRAM Settings, and HT Settings that were available. In no way will I or biosmods.com be held responsible for any failures in computer hardware, and by downloading this bios you agree to take responsibility for whatever you choose to do with this bios. It was a very clean BIOS, easy to modify, and I doubt you'll have any problems. I was even able to unlock virtualization and onboard igx graphics options. Here's the link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1525839/Bios/M5100A3.BIN To flash correctly rename modded bios to 721A1P13.BIN and flash with the awdflash.exe available on the acer support website. Enjoy! TheWiz UPDATE: The new release version R01-A3 I have modded. I removed the PC health status unlocked options because I believe it is the reason why peoples flashes were failing. This looks good now. This includes the full unlock and overclocking options, and the link above has been updated to reflect the new version. | |||

| RE: Acer Aspire M5100 R01-A1 Award Recovery:- Step by Step: 1. Create a bootable floppy diskette 2. Copy the BIOS file and flash utility to the diskette 3. Create an text file with any standard text editor and add the following lines @ECHO OFF awdflash 12345678.BIN /py/sn/f/cc/r Exchange the awdflash with the name of whatever flash utility you are using, and replace the 12345678.BIN with the name of the BIOS file you are using. The parameters are explained here: py = program yes sn = save no f = flash cc = clear cmos r = reboot Hope this helps you Regards Admin The beeps when you take the memory out mean that the board isnt completely dead and theres a good chance it can be reocvered using the steps below ![]() I will not be held responsible for anything that may go wrong with your BIOS, and by downloading a modded bios you are held responsible for what you choose to do with it. ![]() Looking for a whitelist disabled HP bios? | |||
