[REMOVED] Lenovo Thinkpad x220 WWAN whitelist remove request

This is my first post here so hello everybody

Recently I have bought great machine lenovo x220

Unfortunely I have WWAN modem from my older lenovo (sony ericsson 3507g) and as far as I know I have to remove whitelist from my bios

I have found on other sites bios 1.16 without whitelist but there is new 1.17 with fix important error so I want to flash to the newest(1.17).


-Manufacturer: LENOVO
-Model: X220
-Bios revision: 1.17
-Bios Type: Phoenix / UEFI(?)

-Current WLAN card ID(hope that can helps find whitelist): PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0085&SUBSYS_13118086
-Current WWAN card: nothing(I want to install sony ericsson 3507g lenovo branded)


Could anybody help me? I managed to decompress bios into *.rom modules but I cant find the right module to edit :/

Good job the 8 guys who have already downloaded the mod and haven't came back to say if it works or not for the original requester. this kind of things sucks.

Eveyrting works great! BIG THANK YOU, I also posted this bios on other forum cuz many peoples need it and I dont know about posting links directyl to this forums is allowed there.

feedback tips:

to flash this bios first flash to original 1.17 and then do this:

in environment.dll

replace
68 01 00 83 C4 0C 85 C0 74 15
by
68 01 00 83 C4 0C 85 C0 EB 15
to suppress "imageDigest fail!" error

or
83 C4 14 89 45 E0 83 7D E0 00 74 31
by
83 C4 14 89 45 E0 83 7D E0 00 EB 31
to suppress "Fail to authenticate image!" error

(this second hack is not necessary if first is applied)


Above hacking tip was made by TTAV134 and its taken from other forum also, I hope he dont mind.

Anyway this bios is great modded so please remove password so other people can download it




EDIT: I can confirm that this bios works on x220 and x220i TABLET
