VAIO VPCEA15FG Bios

Hi All,

Just found this site and I hope you experts can help me out!

I have a Sony VAIO VPCEA15FG, from India and upgraded the bios as recommended by Sony update. Everything seemed to go fine but after shutting down & restarting (as prompted to do by the installer), the battery no longer seems to work.
It works fine on AC power but when the battery is in, the laptop doesn't even start. The power light goes on and 1 second later goes off.

I've tried finding the original bios version but am unable to do so and sony help are quite useless.

The current and most up to date version of the bios according to the website is R0300Y8.

If anyone can help fix this / give me the old bios I would be eternally grateful!
