First thing I'd like to know if this is a laptop? Or you have a lenovo display?

What's the board revision? Not that it matters that much.

So do you not have any overclocking in the bios? It said MCH was at 667 so you should have memory multi control among possibly cpu multi control.

The Intel G31 chipset could handle a top chipset speed of 1500 while pushing your luck. Otherwise it's very happy at 1333 and should not be toyed with if you want your system to last more than a month.

Stick to 1333 because you have a ton of highly price efficient options that would blow any overclock you could pull off on the e7300.

If you want extra performance and your literally dirt poor yet could scrounge together $10 to throw on a walmart $1.88 prepaid visa, add visa to paypal account, and purchase a processor on ebay.

We must remove the E7300 from it's socket and careful as all get out use an exacto knife to cut the 775 notches in the socket off and blow debris away when done. Purchase LGA771 to LGA775 Xeon adapter sticker for $3 I believe.

Purchase one of many options at different price points. They all have 12 Mega Bytes of CPU cache and that's 3 whole Mega Bytes per core. There will be no less than Four Core's in these options and all at 1333mhz fsb between 80W and 120W (120W is not that hot at all on these).

Intel Xeon E5405 - 80W - 12MB Cache - 4 cores - 2.00Ghz per core at ----- $7.00 SHIPPED .. that's seven dollars.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Xeon-E5405...1c51c64705

Intel Xeon X5460 - 120W - 12MB Cache - 4 cores - 3.16Ghz per core at ----- $27.00 SHIPPED .. that's twenty seven dollars. (Second Fastest 771 Xeon Ever) -- Much faster than a Core 2 Quad Extreme Edition and much cooler.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Xeon-X5460...3aa9543f2a

Intel Xeon X5470 - 120W - 12MB Cache - 4 cores - 3.33Ghz per core at ----- $64.00 SHIPPED .. that's sixty four dollars. (THE FASTEST AND MOST POWERFUL XEON FOR 1333 PLATFORM).

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Xeon-X5470...419598d31c

Doing all this just perfectly because the Intel G31 chipset is highly compatible with Top-Of-The-Line Xeon's like the X5460 and X5470.

This stick is required for proper operation and successful bios post.

$2.35 FROM CHINA if that's where your from?

$2.99 shipped from USA

@wapmaster13

Your welcome bud. Yeah the X5460 will work. Just be careful there are 775 pins that need to stay in perfect shape so don't bend or hurt any of them.

Once you cut those little tabs off in the socket after u open the lid use exacto knife to cut tabs and do it carefully. After done test for proper seating reinsert cpu and align Arrow point to Arrow point on socket lid for proper orientation to post with tabs removed. You must add the sticker as well carefully over these pins...

As for Romania just order it from the USA and you will receive it quicker than probably anywhere else in the world other than maybe the UK... Price is cheap in the USA so just use currency conversion and it should only take 1 or 2 weeks for delivery.

Here's a working auction that hasn't ended yet.

When u open the socket u see 2 tabs for core 2 duos and quads... Cut those carefully with tiny knife just push down with knife and do it carefully and cut a slice in each tab and then kind of bend the blade and the tab will fall off.  Then blow debris by mouth away from board/ socket/ pins.  Clean up the cut when tab is removed and make sure its straight flat cut so the Xeon sits nicely.

Align the sticker and maybe buy 1 or more stickers just carefully align precisely on those pins by removing sticker from adhesive edges and maybe with a pair of tweezers and a good eye set on the pins.  Then slowly push over to around the correct area and eye ball the pins required and orientation by the upside down 200.  The sticker should be 1 pin to the left of the edge of the bottom of the pins as the picture above shows.

Then install and just power on and see if it posts video... If it doesn't shut down and remove cpu again and work on the sticker.  Until it'll post.  Then shutdown and paste it up and ur good.
