Bios Recovery on HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx
#1
I installed the bios from https://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS/index.php...miloml.exe and bricked my machine.

I extracted the files from the sp55375.exe on the website.

10/26/2011  01:46 AM         4,736,896 017FC.bin
11/04/2010  06:36 PM            13,312 AtpTimerInfo.dll
06/20/2011  03:58 PM           231,936 FlsHook.exe
06/20/2011  03:58 PM           195,584 FlsHookDll.dll
11/04/2010  06:36 PM           944,664 FWUpdLcl.exe
06/20/2011  03:58 PM           762,368 InsydeFlash.exe
06/20/2011  03:58 PM         1,267,200 iscflash.dll
06/20/2011  03:59 PM            27,648 iscflash.sys
05/19/2011  03:26 PM            50,752 iscflashx64.sys
09/05/2011  10:13 AM            27,362 platform.ini
11/04/2010  06:36 PM         1,892,352 xerces-c_2_7.dll

I formatted a flashdrive to fat32 and ran the the HP UEFI PC Hardware Diagnostics. I have copied the 017FC.bin to

I:\Hewlett-Packard\BIOS\Current
I:\Hewlett-Packard\BIOS\New
I:\Hewlett-Packard\BIOS\Previous
I:\

I have tried everything in

https://support.hp.com/si-en/document/c02693833

From this article I thought maybe I needed the RSA.SIG, renamed, in the correct folder. The article mentions Phonix Mod v.2.11. I tried using the Phoenixtool256, but wasn't able to create the rsa.sig.

https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads...272/page-3

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
