ROG Strix SCAR II gl704gv unlock bios 308
#1
Hello

I was wondering if someone could unlock this BIOS on my ROG Strix SCAR II gl704gv so I can remove the RAM  limitation to up  which is set to 2666. Insert to bios undervolting -100

Download bios https://www.asus.com/ru/Laptops/ROG-Stri..._Download/

BUMP!

I would really love getting unlocked bios with C1E disabled as well. That would help the coil whine. Bios 308 as well. Thanks!

Update to the thread - BIOS was successfully unlocked by genius 239!

Check out his page - https://239239.blogspot.com/ .

With flashed bios, I was able to turn the C1E states off and all the coil whine was gone.

Thanks to Genius239 once again!

Thank You. I fine. Have you tried overclocking RAM?

No I haven't, there is no option for it (at least I couldn't find it). Honestly, I do not think overclocking the ram will give a considerable performance boost.

However, I'm trying to figured out how to offset the voltage, genius239 will check the bios again if there is an actual option available for the offset.

Don't worry , i've got your dump bios from gmail.
Give me some times , now i'm waiting new modified result from member arrtaas.

And i don't think this laptop model can be OC.

Hey. Fine)! We have a BIOS unlock on the forum here, so that we can overclock RAM via Intel XTU on Windows. Interestingly, through the BIOS it will be possible to turn on to overclock via Intel XTU on Windows. I have a screen here of another laptop model, so that you understand what I'm talking about.

I already understood what it mean , set option "OverClocking Feature"=Enabled and "XTU Interface = Enabled" then you can use INTEL XTU utility to adjust some options in windows ,right??

These two option are hidden ,now i'm thinking how to let them appear in bios interface.
