yes i have read the read me first. i understand the risk, especially with HP laptops. i understand i may have a RSA signed bios (not sure if i do). yes i searched to see if there is already a whitelisted bios, i did not find a definate answer. yes, i donated $10 to the forum. any help will be appreciated.

Request for Removal of Elitebook 8770W Wifi Module whitelist, already tried asking nicely on HP's support forum and anyone can guess how that went. Ive built this machine into a light/meduim gamer but it is severely limited by its ancient WiFi module. Want to install intel AX200 but it keeps disabling it. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

No hope for installing WiFi 6.

Is there any hope for removing or bypassing the whitelist, because the NIC thats in it is a mega pile. It keeps throwing the WiFi in game or under any heavy load. the machine recognized my AX200 but disables it because of the stupid whitelist, HP says there's not supposed to be a whitelist on this machine

And that's actually true.

You should have been more specific in your previous post. Saying that device keeps disabling the wifi module can be misleading.

It happens that the device initially does not support modules with wifi 6, despite the absence of BIOS whitelist, it is not entirely known why.
And it happens that when a certain temperature is reached, airplane mode is turned on, which is looks like your case. This is supported by evidence that it occurs under a heavy load.

Is there any way around this because this is a great machine being bottlenecked by its manufactures intentionally only because if it had 6 capability it would wipe the floor with their modern machines.
