Acer Aspire One 751h - 1279
#1
Acer Aspire One 751h - 1279
-Manufacturer: Acer
-Motherboard Model: JV11-ML
-Bios revision: V0.3210
-Bios Type: Phoenix BIOS

would like to have biosmod for this laptop

Bios at http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/...2865737770&Step1=Netbook&Step2=Aspire One&Step3=AO751h&OS=V10&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=PA_7

Here you go , i used Acer 2.1 SLIC + Certificate Included:-

1. Copy and paste ******.XRM-MS certificate file into C-Drive.

2. After pasting this file into C-Drive, go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - COMMAND PROMPT. Right click on Command Prompt and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

3. When Command Prompt opens, type at the prompt: slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\********.xrm-ms and hit the Enter Button. Wait for the Script Host to answer you with a message that the license was installed successfully....this could take a few minutes and so be patient.

4. After receiving the message that the license was installed successfully, type at the command prompt: slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (Replace with any OEM SLP Product Key for your installed version of Windows 7 , they are not hard to find).Be Patient and wait for the message to say that the Product Key was sucessfully installed. After it says successfully installed, reboot the computer.

5. When you are back at your desktop, go to START - COMPUTER - right click on Computer and choose PROPERTIES and see if it is activated with an OEM product ID.

As this is a phoenix bios, no , there are no hidden options as we are still investigating how to do this

Only addition is Acer 2.1 SLIC Table

There is a documented insyde Recovery Thread in our tutroaisl section. However , when you flash one of our modded bios you take a risk.

Its up to you , we cant make you flash it!

There is a new BIOS released from Acer for this Acer Aspire One 751h (ver.0.3211)

Acer Aspire One 751h
-Manufacturer: Acer
-Motherboard Model: JV11-ML
-Bios revision: V0.3211
-Bios Type: Phoenix BIOS

http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/...1624145969&Step1=Netbook&Step2=Aspire%20One&Step3=AO751h&OS=V10&LC=es&BC=Acer&SC=EMEA_11

Please can you mod this one too?
it seems to have improvements on video aceleration thats really needed on this netbook.

Thank you very much in advanced! Big Grin

Edit: seems there is no need to show in the topic name the "- 1279" cos Acer releases one BIOS for all 751h Aspires.

This is a Requirement with Each Difficult Phoenix/Insyde Mod Request .

How To Create An RW Everything Report

Download and Install RWEverything from one of the following links:
http://jacky5488.myweb.hinet.net/
http://jacky5488.myweb.hinet.net/bin/RwV1.4.zip
http://slics.myftp.org/Tools/RwV1.4.rar

Open RWEverything.

After RWEverything Opens, click ACCESS - ACPI Tables.

When ACPI Tables opens, click anywhere within the ACPI Window.

Now click CONTROL + F2 to save the entire table.

Save this Report to the desktop WITHOUT CHANGING THE NAME and either attach this file to

your post or upload it to one of the following:
http://www.box.net or http://www.mediafire.com or http://www.sendspace.com

If you upload your RWEverything Report to one of the 3 host servers above, post the download link of

your RWEverthing Report in the Post of your Mod Request.

Below is the preferred method in which to post your mod requests:

-Manufacturer:
-Motherboard Model:
-Bios revision:
-Bios Type:
-Bios Download Link:
-RW Everything Report Download Link:

Seems your machine already has 2 SLICS , both a 2.0 and a 2.1 , dpeending on what version of windows came preinstalled with your machine determines which SLIC is dominant. Il have a look round for a utility you can use to change this! - No bios flashing required hopefully!
