Here you go , i used Asus 2.1 SLIC + Certificate Included:-

1. Copy and paste ******.XRM-MS certificate file into C-Drive.

2. After pasting this file into C-Drive, go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - COMMAND PROMPT. Right click on Command Prompt and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

3. When Command Prompt opens, type at the prompt: slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\********.xrm-ms and hit the Enter Button. Wait for the Script Host to answer you with a message that the license was installed successfully....this could take a few minutes and so be patient.

4. After receiving the message that the license was installed successfully, type at the command prompt:

slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (Replace with any OEM SLP Product Key for your installed version of Windows 7 , they are not hard to find).Be Patient and wait for the message to say that the Product Key was sucessfully installed. After it says successfully installed, reboot the computer.

5. When you are back at your desktop, go to START - COMPUTER - right click on Computer and choose PROPERTIES and see if it is activated with an OEM product ID.

Buddy of mine just bought this board, so I downloaded the file linked to above and the EZ-Flash utility inside the BIOS setup says that it has an invalid boot bock... or something. I can't recall the exact error message and I'm not there... I've downloaded the file three times and no luck.

But there is a newer revision out (612, I bellieve), would it be possible to add SLIC 2.1 data to it?

please make a new request if you would like this version modded.

Also , its not recommened to use the EZ Flash utility for a modded bios. Your much better of making a bootable DOS CD/USB/DVD and flashing the bios from that instead

Sorry, I just didn't want to pollute the forum with a redundant thread on the same motherboard... I'll make a new thread.

With that said, why is it not recommended to use the EZ-Flash utility? It's the same tool that's loaded from a DOS boot disk.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. EZ Flash works fine with original Asus bioses

However , when we mod the bios checksum gets changed and EZ flash suddenly has a much higher chance of breaking the board (Simply doesnt like modded ones)

When you make a DOS disk , use AFUDOS.EXE to flash instead
