Or manualy open Winflash.exe do settings as down and choice BIOSWLST.WPH then flash It

This are settings :

Setup=winflash.exe /v /cs /sd /sv /svs BIOSWLST.WPH

TempMode

Overwrite=1

Or open a Comand Prompt with Amin Rights and run flash.bat into Modified_WL folder

Let me know

Sorry but I don't see Modified_WL.exe or BIOSWLST.WPH in the file you gave me.

Hey guys I have this laptop as well, wanted to unlock the AMD-v virtualization, but the bios is locked, I did everything listed in the thread but sadly with no result.

Firstly, my bios was a slightly newer version, 54CN20WW instead of 54CN18WW, so I flashed with the 54CN18WW file first, and after with the whitelist removed version posted in this thread, the process went smoothly without any problems and I verified that the version indeed downgraded to 54CN18WW, but the bios looks exactly the same, with no new tabs and options.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a circa 2012 Lenovo Ideapad Z575, with a less-than-stellar 54 mbps Broadcom internal wifi adapter.  I am wanting to upgrade to one of the new Intel 7260 boards.  The university I work at supports internet much faster than 54 mbps, and I would really like to take full advantage of this.  The BIOS version is 54CN20WW with the date 11/15/2011.  Anybody have any suggestions as to how to remove the whitelist?
Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.>  I have attached a screenshot of my system info

Hi,

I'm trying to flash the BIOS on this laptop with a BIOS I found from this thread here but I'm having a few issues:

The modified BIOS author first says to Run flash.bat as administrator. Doing so causes the command prompt to flicker and then nothing else to happen.

He then says:
Quote:Ok friend,
to flash It from Dos You need a phlash.exe tool, then
You have to prepare an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and copy all files into
then Boot from USB Dos and execute pflash /cvar /bbl /sa /sv /v 54CN18WW.ROM
but You need convert .WPH to .ROM (very complicated).
I suggest to copy bios_mod folder to C HD root rename It as mod, then
much easy is to open a Comand Prompt as Administrator CLI window and You got
C:\ then use a comands sequence :

cd C:\mod
flash.bat

That's It
Let me know
Regards

When I follow those steps, the Phoenix UEFI Flash Tool pops up and the bios will start to update. The computer will then crash with a Windows Stop Code of PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA saysing that WinFlash64.sys flailed.

I then tried to create a bootable DOS drive and installed the modified BIOS from there, following the directions in the HOW TO FLASH MODIFIED OR ORIGINAL BIOS (PHOENIX) sticky thread. It didn't work the first time I tried it because the modified bios is named BIOS1.WPH and the PHLASH16 programs seems to want the file to be named BIOS.WPH. I renamed the file, and the next time I tried running it I got an "Invalid FlashInt.Bin" error.
The thread continued with download links from http://rghost.net but currently nothing can be downloaded from that site.

The original WiFi card does not work, so I could not pull up the PCI ID from it. I've attached pictures of the physical card in case there's some identification information on it that can be used, as the PCI ID does not seem to be listed.

BIOS from manufacturer's site: Lenovo BIOS

The BIOS Backup files from my laptop: https://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/f6AC...b07gNzHcRA
I made the BIOS backup files following this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BItGfpyyHnI

I don't really know what I'm doing and I've already spent 4 or 5 hours on this. This BIOS does not appear to be in the Whitelisted BIOS Repository.
Any help would be appreciated.
