[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad X230 Tablet (GCETxxWW) Whitelist Removal
#1
I was looking to buy a third party WWAN card for my machine. I may also end up replacing the Wi-Fi card as well.

Device: Lenovo Thinkpad X230 Tablet
Filename: gcuj04us.exe
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj04us.exe

Another user here who needs a mod. You guys are awesome! Thanks for the help.

I do NOT fully trust the modder who posted this bios (apparently it doesn't work) but he did make an attempt. Please don't try it, analyze it if you have the tools/knowhow.

One more enthusiastic request for this mod! Personally I'm not likely to get a WWAN, but the Wi-Fi is naturally high on my list. Thanks!

hm, is it supposed to be updated after I run the mod_nwl.exe? it seems like it's just unzipping files to a folder... it's still whitelisting my WLAN card

also, i tried running the WINUPTP.exe but it's telling me that "the bios image file is the same as the bios ROM, no update is needed"

is this what is supposed to be happening?

- Run mod_nwl.exe as administrator to flash bios mod.
- Or, unzip and run WINUPTP.exe /s to flash.
