Hello koolx,

Could you dump your notebook's NVRAM Token Table please? To do this, follow the following:

Create a bootable USB flashdrive with DOS. You could also use a CD, but a flashdrive is preferable. Instructions for this process can be found here. You can skip Step #8.

After this, extract this archive to the root directory of the drive. This archive contains symcmos, the utility used to read from and write to your CMOS NVRAM.

DOS Commands for Reading/Writing to the CMOS NVRAM:

symcmos -v2 -LDefault.txt
Code:
Write:
symcmos -v2 -UModified.txt

Run the read command above after you boot into DOS. The resulting text file is your NVRAM Token Table dump. Please upload this file.

!!!!!PLEASE READ!!!!!! Our Ukrainian friends are undergoing atrocities right now and need support. There are two things you can do for starters:

1.) Donate to one of various organizations offering medical, military, and psychological support to those impacted: Support Organizations

2.) Combat misinformation on social media.

Hey Steven. I did all that you instructed. But it produced a default.txt file that contains nothing when I opened it. Was I supposed to shut off my laptop then boot into DOS to run the 'read' command? Was I supposed to also run the 'write' command even though you didn't specifically ask me to do so?

Steven, please re-read my last post that I re-edited moments ago. I can't upload the file because the site won't let me, I think because there's nothing in the file. When I open it, there's nothing written in it. Also, I copied and pasted what transpired in DOS after I ran the read command. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.
