Hi friend,
I want to start a New Way to pass Mods to users :

AutoMod

Using CodeRush Tool UEFIPatch + Patches.txt We can do the Mod by ourself, in any time and wherever We are !!!

Just use the right Patches.txt for the own Bios Version, so for 6CN25WW use this one !!!

How to use ? It's easy, just do a biosbackup.bin file and drag&drop on UEFIPatch.exe (the Patches.txt file has to be togheter at tool) It will reply with a file patched, then rename that file as bios.bin, put It into modified folder where are all rest tools to re-flash Bios Mod and copy all files from modified folder to an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and Boot from USB !
Then at CLI Prompt Comand run flash.bat That's It all !

Here CodeRush Tool :

https://www.sendspace.com/file/1745gw

The Patches.txt file for 6CN25WW :

http://rghost.net/58795032

Here Modified folder with all tools to re-flash Bios Mod from USB, follow instructions :

http://rghost.net/58795040

I hope It will become the New Mod Way !!!

Let me know
regards

P.S. if You get error 104 on FPT process find Fparts.txt Eeprom Definitions File into FPT 8.1 folder and do some modifies
on your Eeprom row E.G. :
if your Eeproms Chips are W25Q16BV - W25Q32BV :

check fparts.txt file in modified folder open It and look these rows

W25Q16BV, 0xEF4015, 0x1000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0xc7, 80000
W25Q32BV, 0xEF4016, 0x2000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0xc7, 80000

change 0xc7 in 0x60 or otherwise 0xc60 in 0xc7 and save then try again to flash !

W25Q16BV, 0xEF4015, 0x1000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0x60, 80000
W25Q32BV, 0xEF4016, 0x2000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0x60, 80000

Any laptop has a Eeprom sets different and We have to chancge the configuration.

This is AutoMod Method !!!

Here is your Bios Mod ready to flash It :

Hi friend,
It's all right your procedure, but It's aproblem your Eeprom Write Protected = Error 280 FPT tool !!!
Only using an SPI External USB Programmer can write Bios Mod on your laptop !
I am sorry : ( , look here :

Hello all!

(I'm totally new here).

I just installed my new Intel 7260 Dual Band Ac 7260NGW ordered from AliExpress.
Read more about the item here: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Intel-Dua...60322.html

I did try to order the right one, os there wasn't any problems with the BIOS Whitelist, but it looks like it only works for Yoga 2 Pro. That's bad..

Now i'm not able to use it, cause of the whitelist. I got the same "Unauthorized wireless network card is plugged in" message.

Is it possible for you guys to fix a mod, there the card is accepted?

Right now the stats is:
BIOS Version: 96CN22WW (v 1.08)
Model: Lenovo Yoga 2 13 (NOT the Pro)
Wifi Card: Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
PC-id:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B2&SUBSYS_C2708086&REV_4B\001500FFFFBAAD9200
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B2&SUBSYS_C2708086&REV_4B
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B2&SUBSYS_C2708086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B2&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B2&CC_0280

I did backup the latest BIOS with the tools:
http://rghost.net/60242347

http://rghost.net/60242367
Please tell, if you need more informations, or maybe the new version of the bios - with the backup. I'm not able to find v. 1.08 online anymore. The newest version is: 96CN29WW (V1.15)

I'm thinking of updating the BIOS version before a mod - what to you guys suggest me? And - are you able to help me with the mod? (I can see that i'm not the only one with the Lenovo Yoga and unauthrozed wifi cards prolems).

Best Regards,

exetico Blush Smile

Update:
See https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...4#pid83254 for a small guide, and the final result.

Hi friend,
wait a moment for your decisions now We will look for this one !
Then We will see for the future Wink
Here You go (your Bios Mod) :

http://rghost.net/60245414

But your Bios is Write Protect = Error 280 so not reflashable look into result folder !
You have to use an HW SPI Programmer !
