(08-14-2010, 01:29 PM)TheWiz Wrote: OK so there are a lot of debug style options but nothing much in the ways of overclocking. Do you want me to unlock these or just attempt a Phenom II X6 upgrade?

Thanks,
TheWiz

If there isnt't anything for oc'ing, then please just perform the Phenom II X6 upgrade.

Thanks so much.

Hiya, am also looking to see if I bios guru was able to do anything with regards to adding X6 support for this bios.

Looks like it needs someone with uber skills to achieve this!

PS Hi pershoot, hopefully some master is able to help all m2rsh users

Hey guys,

Extremly sorry baout the wait, I thought this was taken care of. Meanwhile here is a BIOS with propsed X6 support with AGESA 3.7.0.0 and the latest microcode (NCPUCODE.BIN) Please only test if you have a foll proof BIOS recovery method, unless yu can suggest a good DFI donor board for the job.

Thanks,

great! thanks.

I have just ordered 2 bios chips, and a 1090T. Should be here in a few days.

I will let you know how things go.

i completely forgot that the bios chip is not removeable in this board.

i am inquiring on a SPI 8mb bios flasher for testing.

cpu came today. i am tempted to flash this bios and test.

anyone else flash and all ok?
hmm..

im thinking maybe not touch the bootblock, so in case something goes amiss, i 'should' be able to blindflash.

what do you think?

hi thewiz.

i am working on acquiring an SPI bios programmer, so have not been able to flash as of yet.

also wanted to ask,
is that the latest supported AGESA version?

thx for everything. after all is said and done, a donation will come your way!

Thanks man I appreciate the support. The AGESA image used is the latest 3.7.0.0 which support Phenom X6. I did pull it from an ASUS BIOS though so ou may want to see if you can find a good DFI donor board so they are the same manufacturer and I can upload a new mod. Alaso the Microcode is at the latest version, which microcode is universal for all AMD boards.
