Help me to split bios files (bios and EC) lenovo y570 bios 2.08
#1
Hello i want to flash my bios with this files but i cant do this  when they are as 2 files. Can someone pleeeease split them into 1

Attached Files
.bin   U5_Bios_Main_47CN30WW.BIN (Size: 4 MB / Downloads: 20)
.bin   U38_KBC_47EC30WW.BIN (Size: 128 KB / Downloads: 16)

So do You want to get Firmware File ? or InsydeFlash file ?
Normaly Firmware is this one U5_Bios_Main_47CN30WW.BIN and It will be write
into component (EepromChip) U5 reading on Schematic will more easy !
Then Embedded Controller = EC = U38_KBC_47EC30WW.BIN is tp be write into
a different component (Eeprom Chip) U38 so read on Schematics again !
Now is clear that They are not to be togheter and can be togheter only before
wrote into respectiely Chips !
As I said many times the are separately into Insyde Folder Others are unified into
Bios (or Firmware) file and write then separately !
Now what do have to do ?
Let me know
Regards

P.S. read Schematics and You'll find that page 14 Eeprom Chip W25Q32BVSSIG 4096 KB
and page 47 Eeprom Chip MX25L1005AMC-12G SOP 128 Kbit / 8 = 16 KB

Thank you very much!!!! Bios flashed to 2.08 and ec too! But i saw a 2.06 file in insyde flash directory is it just a mistake or the part of a plan?

And can you please give me the advise because i dont know what to do. When i tried to update bios (a few days ago) by DOS using uniflash (and win98 boot as dos) i started uniflash and pressed " Clear CMos". After this my computer start to boot slower. The dark screen appears after Windows start icon and hold for the 5-6 sec (that newer happened before) and Welcome are loading 5-10 sec as well. Boot takes 40+ sec but before this it was 20-25.

I friend,
I used the Original File Installer v.2.06 to rebuild It !
So I forgot to remove the 2.06 version but the Platform.ini look only for
version 2.08 Wink
There is no problem but I did It again Wink

P.S. try to load the default or best Settings into Bios and Save before exit !
I can only say that now all Firmware is rewrote and if It was not your now You Cloned one!

Hello, can you please reupload it? Maybe you also have 2.10 and 2.12 BIOS+EC file for InsydeFlash? I have lenovo y570, after update BIOS from 2.08 to 2.12, EC has remained 2.08.

I got 2.10 bin and could flash BIOS nad EC, but when I flash 2.12 EC remains 2.10.
