Is the Win 7 Version stored into SLIC ?

Hi,
is the Windows Version (Starter, Home Premium, Ultimate, etc) stored into Slic ?
I have an Acer Notebook which came with Home Premium and now i want to install Ultimate.
Is it possible (Activate with Acer Cert and Ultimate Key instead of Home Prem. Key) or do i need a new SLIC in Bios ?

Hi mate,
If You get a Slic 2.1 into Your Bios You can activate any version just You need
the Key and Certificate for Ultimate !
