Lenovo G580 Logo change

Hi. I have modded bios, and i want change bios logo. I have changed that small intel logo, but i cannot change fullscreen lenovo logo.

BIOS: 5ECN42WW(V4.01)
Logo i want to have insead of lenovo: (800x600, 16Color bitmap. i think i dont have space in bios for 256 color bitmap.)

I download your result.rar and make some check.
I think insydeBAK.BIN and x64_bios-region_8.1.10.1286.bin are part of bios .
I am very curious how do you flash this bios again,can you tell me??

I found some image from these bios ,are they original splash logo??

Big Grin Thanx. i can see this small image (hacker insyde)
But i cannot see Cartman, there is still Lenovo logo.

Finally got it. Ezh20 does not helped me, because it shows only JPEG, BMP and PCX pictures. My bios logo was TGA (Truevision Targa).

So i installed XnView, and tryed to open every file generated in DUMP folder by phoenixtool266.

I have separated all files with pictures. using phoenixtool266 i have deleted unused pictures from bios. (most of bioses have pictures that dont be used, and they are for another motherboard brands). That way i saved some space for my picture, because original picture was in greyscale, and i wanted to replace it to color picture. When i removed unused pictures, i just edited my original bios picture and saved it. (i have made changes direct to original file, when i tryed to save anoter file as same file type it saved as .tga (type 1/9) and original was .tga (type 10). I dont know what will happen when i will use other tga type. I have replaced this edited image into bios image using phoenixtool266.

Then i saved bios image, flashed it and hoped that pc will boot. Big Grin Pc booted with new logo. Wink

Just one question, what will happen if i insert too big picture (file size) using phoenixtool266? Will be image inserted and my bios corrupted or it will be not inserted?

Hi. Please tell me how to save bios file with phoenixtool. Solved, just replace module, and exit. While saving picture, check options and RLE compressioon in XnView.
