Request Asus P7F-X Intel Matrix Storage Manager Option ROM 10.6
#1
Can someone please update this bios with the latest Intel Matrix Storage Option Rom v10.6 or later. I have attached the latest bios from Asus for this board.

Thanks.

Intel Matrix RAID 9.5 -> 10.6
Marvell 6145 L73/RAID1.2.0.31 -> L73/RAID1.2.0.34 (OROM size increased by ~30KB... let me know if I need to revert it, but it should work)
Intel IronLake VGA BIOS 1770->1973

UNTESTED

EDIT: Added one without the Marvell mod just in case because another user with a different board had a problem with the Marvell update I added. You have a different board and a different Marvell BIOS, so I would still try that one first just in case. But I'm providing one without that touched as a fallback.

EDIT 2: The Marvell one should work now. Didn't realize before that these Asus ROMs have the 61xx firmware split into 2 different files.

P.S. Please do not privmsg us about requests. We'll get around to doing the requests when we can.

Feel free to use/link/host any BIOS I post, no credit necessary. However, this is at your own risk and I take no responsibility. Always keep a backup of a known-good BIOS. Don't flash a motherboard if you don't have a backup computer just in case.

Always use RAID mode. RAIDFix

might be too late but I figured out the Marvell thing... don't use that one. If you tried it, well - untry it... I can get you a working one in a bit.
Just replaced the Marvell file with one that should actually work. Another poster had to flash back to stock before being able to flash my files again after trying the messed up Marvell one, so if you get a not enough space for PCI option ROM or whatever, you can try the same.

Sorry to resurrect a 4 year old thread here, but I have a P7F-X and I'm trying to install a 5TB drive for backup. In RAID mode, it only recognizes ~500GB, but in AHCI mode it recognizes the full capacity. My board does not have the Marvell RAID controller (It's a P7F-X not a P7F-X-SATA). I tried both flavors of the modified BIOS here and in both cases it recognized the full capacity in RAID mode, but would not start the boot process after displaying the Intel RAID summary screen. It just goes into a series of rapid beeps and hangs.

I guess this is a long shot considering the age of the board, but was hoping someone could assist!
