[split] Insyde H20 For AHCI AND ACPI S3
#1
Hi everyone,

I have an HP Envy 17 (2nd generation Sandy Bridge) with Insyde H20 Bios.
I wonder if the method for this HP Pavilion dv6 can also walk on my HP Envy 17 ?
Otherwise there any alternative?

The link of my bios is ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp54001-54500/sp54076.exe

Thanks in advance. Wink

I'm sorry, I did not read STICKY POSTS, I'm unforgivable Undecided.

But it works Big Grin, I have access to advanced menu, but I tried to change the option on the hard drive in AHCI mode, but it created a blockage of the bios that do not start.
I managed to recover default by removing the CMOS battery.

Well, thank you again.

I changed another option (boot order), and also its causes blockage of the bios.
I think that if I change any option, it will cause a blockage of the bios.
Is it because of the RSA signed ?
Is there a solution for this problem?

Thank you for your help.

Yes, that's nasty side effect on many of the rsa signed bios. And no, there's no known solution at the moment for those machines suffering semibrick with this mods, just flash original and forget about modded. Sad
