Hey,
Would you be able to create a firmware for me to test for the Dell L702X.
It is a Phoenix SecureCore Tiano firmware which I would like the hidden options made visible.
If this is not possible, could you at least enable UEFI booting (and if possible the F11 to load the EFI shell)?
Before I flash it, would you be able to lookup the recovery procedure of how to fix it if it goes wrong? As far as I could tell, you need to do something with a BIOS.cap file which usually implies a crisis disk and a key command. Could you look up if it's enabled and what the key command is?
The BIOS file is located on the DELL website at:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/uk/e...erId=4TK1N&FileId=2731102942
And is extracted to a WPH file here:
http://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~bsg110/.hidden/BIOS1.WPH
I am currently on A11 firmware but don't mind updating to A12 first if that is needed.
Thanks,
Nebster
P.S. The forum won't keep me logged in. I have to login on each page (using the bar at the top to stay on the current page).
P.P.S. I will try out the firmware very quickly and respond quickly too =)
