It's strange, but after some time with unlocked 1.21 after loading Win7 cpu fan is not switch on, it was always off. In BIOS - it is ok, fan were blowing.
Came back to stock bios - fan began to work properly.

My bios ops are limited. I am running Cat 12.11. . This laptop would be OK, if games would
Detect my AMD not the INTEL. I bought MOH, yet I can not play the darn game.

So if anyone has a solution please let me know thanks.

Also everything is up to date, Bios, 1.21, video card, Cat.

I know a lot about computers, but never did anything 2 bios

Hi friend,
I have Optimus on Acer5750G. If you disable Intel integrated graphics card screen will disappear. You don't want that.

But there is a Solution. After many hours of frustration and giving up god knows how many times I found it.

For CS 1.6 I did the following. Download NVIDIA Inspector. Found Half Life under profiles. Then scrolled down and there is a Line called "Enable application for Optimus" - Change it to "SHIM_RENDERING_MODE_ENABLE" and Click APPLY CHANGES on the right upper corner.

Then not to repeat the process I saved the profile (Export user defined profiles) on my desktop. And now i just double click it everytime computer is restarted or after sleep mode.

BUT

This fixes the problem with Graphic Card. But there is another thing You got your INTEGRATED INTEL GRAPHICS CARD properties. Should be a try-icon next to where the clock is called "Intel ® HD Graphics" or you can find it in control panel i guess. So click on properties, select Advanced Mode. Select Display -> General Settings -> Scaling ----- scale to full screen. But you can play with those now. This was a game changer.

I did that for Diablo 3 as well. as many people said diablo is not playable on optimus but it became evident that this was the solution. But with Diablo 3 I had to use Throttlestop to boost up the CPU. Only problem was Overheating after a while and fps went down. Or laptop shut off. So cooler was needed. Or got to stop playing until it cools down to norm.

Ofcourse I also went to Nvidia Control Panel and changed them to use The NVIDIA Card for those games as default.
