ASUS TUF FX504GD BIOS Unlock Request
#11
Bad news. After editing a memory profile, i cant boot to windows but i still can access the BIOS. So i load optimized default and save, after that there is nothing. No ASUS boot logo just black. I cant access the BIOS anymore

So , you're not tell me the truth ,you only said that you load default then got black screen ,but in fact you did other bios configuration. It should caused by wrong memory edit instead of load bios default.

Maybe you could try to clear cmos ,i found a video that teach people how to do clear cmos on ASUS fx504 series laptops.

Sorry about that, so should i change the CMOS Battery to a new cmos battery or just reinstall it? I tried reinstalling it (pull out the cmos battery and wait for 5 mins and install it back) it did nothing so should i change it?

1. If after did clear cmos it still doesn't boot normally ,it means it not a bios issues it should a hardware issues. Because you mentioned you can see screen transitorily.

2. Why you feel need to change a new battery? cmos batter is provide electricity to south bridge and cmos circuit to save some setting values ,so do clear cmos or remove batter and wait a while is in order to cut off electricity supply then let it revert to default value.

3. Try re-install memory module and turn on laptop ,if it still invalid, i'm no ideas.

4. Do you used a overclocking memory module?

I feel very stupid, i am really sorry if i am annoying. I tried everything you said, no change, there is a little bit clue, the airplane mode indicator turned on after 20 seconds. Caps Lock light not working, how about asus FlashBack??

Sorry ,i'm not skilled in hardware and i'm not a laptop user ,i'm only a normal bios modder ,so i can't give you more useful advice.
If it's only a wrong bios setting ,do clear cmos 100% can revert ,so it should another problems. If you have another memory module ,you could try to replace them to test again.

Are you sure there is flashback features in this laptop ,i only can see it is exist on some ASUS high-end mainboard(Usb bios Flashback button) ,and now i didn't thought it's a bios problem ,it should a hardware fault. Some reasons caused memory fault then broken the pcb circuit.

Sorry , i almost not use afu series to flash bios. And i still think it's an hardware fault ,because you can't going to dos environment.
And i also feel you can't access uefi environment.
