Hi, sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I have seen ACER bios here with ACER 2.1 SLIC (for other models). Is it also possible to embed an ACER 2.1 SLIC into ACER Aspire 4530 as well? Thanks.

yes this is possible , but is there any point risking another bios flash? It doesnt matter what OEM you choose for SLIc , as long as you install a corresponding key and certificate it will activate , regardless of whether the SLIC Oem matches the real oem.

Eg. Any SLIC Will activate any brand laptop
